* Fourteen existing acts related to employees will be scrapped for small scale industries

* They will be replaced by Small Factories (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Services) Bill, 2014

* Industries say 50% more money will have to be spent on employees

* Benefits for SSI employees will be at par with big industries in many respects

* Benefits include PF, insurance, leaves, bonus, maternity benefits, gratuity and creches

* Minimum number of employees for payment of PF will be 10 instead of 20

* Wages will be inclusive of all allowances, which will increase PF amount

* Employees of ancillary industries will be considered employees of main company

* Penalty for not paying PF increased manifold

* Wage ceiling and voluntary contribution for PF won't be applicable to industries except those specified
